TRUTH MOMENT: I didn’t think I was going to like this recipe. 😳 it was one of those “I’ll make it for my husband” recipe creations because anything soggy - hard nope - but I reeeally enjoyed this!! No soggy bread to be found. Pinky promise 🤍

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9x5 baking dish with cooking spray and set it aside.

In a large bowl, mash the banana before adding in the melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, salt and ground cinnamon. Whisk until combined.

Add in the cubed bread and toss with a wooden spoon or spatula until the bread has evenly soaked up the liquid.

Transfer the bread to your prepared baking dish. Top with optional granulated sugar.

Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the top is a deep golden brown.

Serve immediately with powdered sugar and maple syrup.
